  1. I’m a Platinum member, but old school, versed in the old way of acquiring representation, who, if they accepted me for their voice-over stable, like Abrams-Rubaloff, would then book me for work if the ad agency producer called up said “that’s the voice I want for Jimmy Crack Corn Mouth Wash.” I subsequently would show up at a studio like Bell Sound when Abrams-Rubaloff booked me via an ad agency, read the copy for the commercial, signed the AFTRA form given my by the ad agency producer, and waited for my next job.

Colleen, it’s a brave new, brand new world out there — 100% changed — as different in the digital age as horse and buggy recording technology was when I was a young, voice-over guy in N.Y.

VoiceBank has my MPE voice tape, which of course I have as well. HOW DO I CONNECT WITH YOU ON THURS., SO i CAN HEAR THE PRODUCER YOU’VE BOOKED, AND THE PRODUCER CAN EVALUATE MY TAPE>

    xoxo,

    Leslie Howard Gargan
